Lucy: The Daughter of The Devil

The best new show in Adult Swim.

One of the best shows picked by Adult Swim this season is Lucy: The Daughter of The Devil. It is created by Loren Bouchard (from Home Movies) and animated by the brilliant people of Fluid Animation (in San Francisco!). It is one of the hottest shows in Adult Swim… literally. It exposes a modern-day Satan as he faces his teen daughter who doesn’t really live up to the expectations of what the anti-christ should be… specially since lately she’s been hanging out too much with DJ Jesus (pronounced He-sús). The social commentary on our hipster/raver/dirty-hippy/techie culture is so obvious, that I’m sure they’ll be rewarded with a good run. It catters to a specific group of people, the self-proclaimed independent thinkers.
